In the works: Chin Chao’s S3 Road Bike

I started Chin Chao’s road bike today. This will be a very race oriented road bike made with True Temper S3 down tube, head tube, top tube, and seatstays. The seat tube is a 9/6/1 externally butted tube, which allows for the omission of a seat tube collar. I’m using OX Platinum chainstays because I think they’ll better serve Chin’s build and riding style. Although the S3 chainstays are lighter, they’re not quite as stiff as the OX Platinum.
