This particular build tells a story wrapped in romance, memory, and motion.
Our client lives aboard a narrowboat that wanders the English countryside, a floating home named Stelvio. The name itself pays homage to one of cycling’s most legendary climbs: the Stelvio Pass. For most, conquering it once is a badge of honor. For him, it’s part of his identity. The road lives on not only in his stories, but in his paint—etched into the top tube of his RM3 like a love letter to every hairpin curve.
There’s a kind of reverence in that. The way a road becomes part of who you are. The way a bike becomes the medium through which you express that connection. For our client, this wasn’t just a build—it was a companion for everyday life, one that could take him from the quiet towpaths beside his boat to the soaring peaks of the Alps and Pyrenees.
He didn’t want something off-the-shelf or temporary. He wanted a frame that felt eternal. A design that nodded to heritage without being trapped by nostalgia. A ride that would be as beautiful at rest as it is in motion. And above all, he wanted it to feel like his.
