Alex made his international debut with our team at the Rift in Iceland, an Gravel Earth Series event that pushed him into uncharted territory. Confronted with a climate radically different from anything he had experienced before, Alex maintained his composure and powered through the rugged terrain. His performance solidified his reputation as a versatile and determined gravel racer.
Triumph in the Sahara
The Rift was only the beginning. Alex recently took on the Sahara Gravel Stage Race, a grueling four-day journey from Ouarzazate to Erg Lihoudi, where towering dunes and relentless heat tested every ounce of his endurance. Trading the humid roads of home for the vast, uncharted expanse of the Sahara, he packed his GR3 and the lightest gear he could find, prepared for the ultimate challenge.
Racing in the Pairs category, Alex partnered with Kevin Tang to take on the demanding course together. The relentless sand, scorching temperatures, and wide-open landscapes made for an entirely new kind of test—one that required both physical strength and tactical precision. But with his race instincts honed and his GR3 dialed, Alex pushed forward, proving once again that he thrives when the conditions are at their toughest.
