Pure Performance, Perfected in Carbon
At Argonaut, we spend every day chasing perfection.
We’re the only custom carbon bike manufacturer in the U.S. building bikes the way we do—with our own tooling, our own engineering, and our own obsessive approach to ride quality. Every ply of carbon fiber is laid with intention. Every bolt, every junction, every measurement is checked and rechecked by hand. We do this not for the sake of being different, but because it’s the only way we can guarantee bikes that deliver the extraordinary riding experience Argonaut is known for.
But if you're here, you probably already know that part. The engineering is essential. It’s what makes our bikes possible. But the ride—that’s what makes them unforgettable.
Because it’s not just about what we put into the bike. It’s about what you get out of it.
Meet the Rider Who Became an Argonaut
This week, we’re turning the spotlight away from ourselves and toward one of our owners—a rider who recently took delivery of his custom-built Argonaut RM3 in the Bay Area. Rather than summarize, we’ll let him speak for himself.
The sheer joy I experienced yesterday is indescribable. The geo was nailed—I was super nervous about the short TT length but it was exactly what I needed—even was able to get into the ‘aero tuck’ position for a sustained period of time with no discomfort. Also, on the climbs, I felt really confident out of the saddle which is something I've never been able to say.
The biggest, very obvious performance observation was how I gobbled up the longer, minor gradient climbs (ex: Alpine Rd climb which is about 4-5 miles at 2-4% averages); there, the ability to recruit my glutes vs. just the quads and crank out the power was amazing. I registered 10+ PRs on Strava, even on larger climbs!
The bike is incredible. I can't believe it ended up at sub-17.5 lbs—was fully expecting to be at 20+ lbs similar to my old Enve Fray (and would have been super pleased with that). I flew on flat sections with the snappy power transfer (my #1 request) and really enjoyed the acceleration out of the saddle where I heard zero disc brake rub (which is atypical with being a 6'3 250 lb dude).
Not to mention, the finish is unrealllllllll. Being from Miami, I'm considering this thing my ocean-themed steed, lol.
Honestly, this thing is like a climbing-racing-endurance bike, all-in-one. It truly is the BEAB and quiver killer. A+ is my rating!
Seeing the Ride in Action: Supernaut RM3 Goes to Spain
Want to see how our bikes ride outside of California?
This winter, David Arthur of Just Ride Bikes took our Supernaut RM3—our refined, uncompromising vision of the perfect road bike—on a trip to Calpe, Spain. With smooth climbs, crisp descents, and coastal roads that beg for speed, it’s a dream setting to test the limits of performance. David’s review is measured, thoughtful, and grounded in decades of testing the very best. He doesn’t just test bikes; he feels them.
