You know that line in the last post about how popular gravel bikes have become? Well, here’s another one. No, this is not Argonaut’s first go at a gravel racer – in fact their first bike was called just that, the Gravel Racer. First introduced at NAHBS 2014, the Gravel Racer was essentially a more capable version of their road bike and not a true “gravel grinder.” Wanting to see how the gravel market would shake out, Argonaut has been waiting on the sidelines to figure out how to design the next version, the GR2.
